1) Open settings

2) Click on Update & Security

3) It will open the new window, select Windows Update on left pane..

4) Now, on your right pane, you can find many options, select Update History

If you found, the update there, then it was installed on your device,else you no need to panic because

Simply follow the below steps..

5) Press Windows (logo) + R Keys of your keyboard.

6) Type devmgmt.msc -> Hit enter,

7) It will open device manager, on that scroll down and find the device that has yellow exclamation mark in it, ( you may see them under other devices in most of the cases)

8) Right click on the device and select update driver software

9) Now, you will be given two options, select "Browse my computer for driver software" option

10) Now, again select "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer" option.

11) Check the box "Show compatible hardware", -> Select MTP USB device option on the list

12) Click Next,and wait for sometime for the driver to install.

13) Restart your PC after everything finishes.
