How to Create/export dxdiag and msinfo32 files on Windows 10

When we contact support team for any issues we are asked to send the dxdiag and msinfo files to

them for providing support.when such things are common,most of us being learners(including me) it

is difficult as everybody won't know everything,even if we know it is difficult to remember at tough

times that's the fact. So here is an tutorial for creating the dxdiag and msinfo files.

What it does or contains??

They are the files that show what are the things inside your PC like your hardware configuration and

software configuration which help them to diagnose the  problem.

So how to do it?

It is an very easy process,which doesn't require any skills..

Just follow the below steps..

To create dxdiag..

1) Press Windows + R

2) Type dxdiag

3) Hit enter

4) It will Open Directx Diagnostic tool window,which contains your System model and system information

5) Now,click on the Save All information,or press s key

6) It will open save window,on that select your favorite location,

for example: on desktop

7) Name the file as dxdiag

8) Makesure the save as type is Text file.

9) Click Save.

That's it.

And Now it's turn for msinfo file..

1) Press Windows + R

2) Type msinfo32

3) Hit enter

4) It will Open a new window,which contains your System model and system information.

5) Click on File -> Export

It will open save window,on that select your favorite location,

for example: on desktop

6) Follow the same method,you done for dxdiag,i.e.,

7) Name the file as anything example:msinfo32

8) Makesure the save as type is Text file.

9) Click Save.

That's it.
