This is the road the Kali team quietly built so nobody would have to suffer the long one: a virtual machine they already installed, configured, and tuned — Guest Additions included, which means copy-paste, shared folders, and auto-resizing screens work from the first boot. Accept the defaults unless you have a reason not to — "Guided — use entire disk" is correct inside a VM, because the "entire disk" it erases is the empty virtual one you just created, not your PC. The #1 failure: virtualization is switched off in your BIOS
