Unable to Start Sandbox error code “0x80070002” in Windows 10, Version 1903 [Bug]

Windows Sandbox failed to start error code “0x80070002”.

If you are using Windows 10 May 2019 Update [Windows 10, Version 1903], whenever you try to open sandbox it will display ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND with error code “0x80070002” and will fail to start.

Many users has experienced this issue, especially non English Windows 10 users. If you are the one who is experiencing this issue, then don't worry, because it was actually a bug. 

First try to change system time, because most of the users has fixed the issue by simply changing the system time, so give it a try..

If you are still unable to do that, then wait for an Official fix from Microsoft, because Microsoft is already aware of this issue..

Windows Sandbox may fail to start with "ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND (0x80070002)" on devices in which the operating system language is changed during the update process when installing Windows 10, version 1903.

Windows 10, version 1903: Unable to discover or connect to Bluetooth devices after Windows 10 May update [Fix]

If you had upgraded to latest version of Windows 10 May update 2019 then you might experience many issues one of the them is not being able to connect to Bluetooth device. Unable to discover or connect to Bluetooth devices. 

If you are the one facing this error, then Microsoft says, your device drivers needs to be updated. This is because of compatibility issue, and the issue will mostly occur on Qualcomm and Realtek bluetooth devices.

So, if your device was Unable to discover the nearest bluetooth devices, then check your device version and download the drivers from the official Manufacturer site..

For Qualcomm drivers, you will need to install a driver version greater than 10.0.1.11.

For Realtek drivers, you will need to install a driver version greater than 1.5.1011.0.

 or kindly wait till the fix is available, it will be served soon through Windows update, as confirmed by Microsoft.

Microsoft has identified compatibility issues with some driver versions for Bluetooth radios made by Realtek and Qualcomm. To safeguard your update experience, we have applied a compatibility hold on devices with affected driver versions for Realtek or Qualcomm Bluetooth radios from being offered Windows 10, version 1903 or Windows Server, version 1903 until the driver has been updated.

Microsoft is working with Realtek and Qualcomm to release new drivers for all affected system via Windows Update.   

So, Kindly wait till an update is available or download and install it manually. 

Audio not working with Dolby Atmos headphones and home theater after Windows 10 May 2019 update

Windows 10 May 2019 update or Windows 10, Version 1903 was released for all the PC users except few user's PC, where Microsoft suspects there might be a issue if they upgrade to the latest version.

However, many users who want to try this new build has already started downloading the update manually in the form of ISO (you can download windows 10 1903 iso) and are experiencing issues like brightness not working, not being able to connect to Bluetooth,etc. 

Other users has reported that after upgrading to the latest version of Windows 10 May 2019 update, audio is not working with dolby atmos headphones and speakers. 

While, there is no permanent solution, available at the moment all i can say, is this is a known issue to Microsoft, and they are actively working on a fix.

After updating to Windows 10, version 1903, you may experience loss of audio with Dolby Atmos for home theater (free extension) or Dolby Atmos for headphones (paid extension) acquired through the Microsoft Store due to a licensing configuration error.

This occurs due to an issue with a Microsoft Store licensing component, where license holders are not able to connect to the Dolby Access app and enable Dolby Atmos extensions.

To safeguard your update experience, we have applied protective hold on devices from being offered Windows 10, version 1903 until this issue is resolved. This configuration error will not result in loss of access for the acquired license once the problem is resolved.

We are working on a resolution for Microsoft Store and estimate a solution will be available in mid-June. 

So, if you are facing this issue, we request you to not update to this new build, if you had already did, then we request you to wait until a fix is available. 

Display brightness not working after installing Windows 10 May 2019 update [Solution that might work]

Windows 10 May 2019 update was released for general public today. Restart your PC, and you can see its fixed.

Try it and you might find its working.

Since it won't reach all the users at a single time through Windows update, the sad part is you have to wait till the update reach you, which will be served based on the location. Windows 10 May 2019 (1903) released !, You can download it starting today..

The answer to the much awaited question, When is windows 10, Version 1903 the windows 10 May update gonna be released? is now available as Microsoft has informed that starting today May 21,2019 users can download the Windows 10 May 2019 update.

This new update has some new features like sandboxing, light theme,and a separate search and Cortana with other cool best security features. If you wish to download the latest Windows 10, version 1903 then just visit Settings -> Updates and Security =>Windows Update => Check for updates and when you find the Download and install now hit the button.

By default, if you perform clean installation, then windows 10 will boot into desktop with only one desktop icon which is "Recycle Bin".

What i would say is, this could be because of some new features like light mode, a separate search and cortana, an upgraded action center with slide to control brightness and much more features found on this new version 1903. 

This new Windows 10, Version 1903 update was not officially out yet, but it was already available on MSDN forums, and through Windows Insider program. All you need to do, is either to visit your MSDN portal page, download the iso and do a fresh installation (if you are beginner, then you can watch this Youtube tutorial, which will still work for this new build) or sign up for Windows Insider program.

Enable light mode in Windows 10 May update 1903 [How to Guide]

How to Enable light theme in Windows 10 May update 1903, that's what we're gonna see in this post.

Windows 10 build 1903 is shipping with a new theme called light theme. The difference between this light theme/ mode and other theme modes is only one thing, when you enable this light theme mode all your start menu, taskbar and action center will look a kind of white blue mix give you a pretty similar look like MacOS.

So, if you want to enable or turn on light theme mode on Windows 10 May update 1903, then just follow the below simple steps..

1) Press Windows (logo) Key and i keys simultaneously, which will open settings app.

2) Click/ tap Personalization.

3) Now, you will see different options, select Colors.

Windows 10, version 1903 needs 32gb minimum storage space to install.

Microsoft today updated its support document that confirms users need to give 32 gb of their hard drive/SSD free space, if they need to install the Windows 10 build 1903. Though, Microsoft justified the change, by various reasons (like after downloading update, systems are prevented from installing updates because of the low disk space, smooth experience gets affected,etc..) it was still hard for users to give the 32gb free space dedicated to the new Operating System rather than the older one which asks 12gb lesser than the current one. 

Both the bit versions of Windows 10 (x64 bit and x86 bit) needs the 32GB Space..

We're not sure, why Microsoft decided this, as this move would cause more number of users refusing to upgrade to latest version of Windows 10,version 1903 and may force users to reinstall the linux variants like ubuntu which runs all its processes in less than 10 GB. 

What needs your attention "This PC Can't be upgraded to Windows 10" error message while upgrading to Windows 10 May 2019 update [Fix]

This pc can't be upgraded to windows 10, this will be the error message you are gonna get while installing latest windows 10 may 2019 update. With the final build already on release preview wing for insiders,  Today, Microsoft announced that the users of windows 10 while upgrading to upcoming Windows 10 May update will see the above error message with text "Your PC has hardware that isn't ready for this version of Windows 10. No action is needed. Windows Update will offer this version of Windows 10 automatically once the issue has been resolved" (Ref, below image).

You might have high end specs that can run many OS simultaneously, but you will still see the error message because of an simple issue.

So, what is the fix/ solution?

Simple, just remove the plugged in external storage, and restart your update, it will now work without any hassles. for example: if you had plugged in your USB drive or any device on usb port, then remove it, and try again, that's it.. 

Here is what Microsoft says about the cause,

Inappropriate drive reassignment can occur on eligible computers that have an external USB device or SD memory card attached during the installation of the May 2019 update. For this reason, these computers are currently blocked from receiving the May 2019 Update. This generates the error message..

Example: An upgrade to the May 2019 Update is tried on a computer that has the October 2018 update installed and also has a thumb drive inserted into a USB port. Before the upgrade, the device would have been mounted in the system as drive G based on the existing drive configuration. However, after the upgrade, the device is reassigned a different drive letter. For example, the drive is reassigned as drive H.

Note The drive reassignment is not limited to removable drives. Internal hard drives can also be affected.

So, will there be any official fix?

Microsoft says, the issue will be resolved in future service updates, and the issue will be fixed for insiders in the windows insider build 18877. Until then, follow the above fix.
